# Ticker Template

[The ticker template](https://bitbucket.org/diseinc/sampletemplates/src/main/Samples/Ticker/) is an example of how to accomplish a smooth scrolling Ticker without relying on external libraries or modules.

- The template is not dependent on a specific resolution.
- The scroll-offsets are animated using (2D)-transforms, rather than animating the left-property.
- Multiple instances of the template (or a single one in a looping playlist) will overlap in time, allowing the next ticker to start before the previous has left the screen.
