When using content in Composer and uploading to the web, use the below media formats to guarantee it working across all player types.
The parameters for the different formats below are our recommendations.
Video
Note: The recommendations below will work on all players no matter how old. Many players will handle much greater resolution then specified. Contact us for more information.
- MPEG-4 H.264/AVC (.mp4)
Maximum resolution: 1920 x 1080 (landscape), 1080 x 1920 (portrait)
Video frame rate: 30 fps
Recommended bitrate (constant): 10 Mbps (75/Mb/minute)
Max bitrate (constant): 20 Mbps (150Mb/minute)
Profile: H.264 baseline profile video and AAC low-complexity profile audio.
Progressive scan (1080p)
