If you have a modell not listed above please contact support@dise.com, we can help you check if your modell is supported. 


Firmware upgrade

To check your WebOS Signage firmware version, open the settings with your remote.

You should see a tile called S/W Version on the dashboard, by clicking this you will open up system information where you can find your S/W version. 

If you cant find the tile you can also click the Server_Setting_Icon.png button in the launcher and then navigate to General > System Information.


To update your WebOS Signage firmware, follow the steps below.

  1. Download the latest version of firmware image file (.epk).

  2. Copy or move the downloaded image file into the /LG_MONITOR directory in your USB flash drive.

  3. Insert the USB flash drive carrying the firmware to update with, into the webOS Signage device. 
  4. Follow the instructions on the screen


For modell UH7F screens you need to have version 03.21.30 or higher.

Installation using URL (Recommended)

To install Lite on the LG WebOS 4.0, please

  1. Connect Ethernet cable.
  2. Connect power supply.

  3. Start the screen and go through the initial setup guide.

    1. Choose the 'Quick start' option

    2. Make sure that the internal date/time on the screen is correct (Important!)

    3. If the playback is supposed to be in Portrait mode make sure to rotate the screen

    4. Unless specified differently the rest of the settings can be left alone

    5. Choose 'Go to settings' 

  4. Under the 'EZ SETTINGS' tab select 'SI server setting' 
  5. In the 'SI SERVER SETTING' you want to once again select 'SI Server setting'
  6. On this screen you want to do the following
    1. “Application Launch Mode” should be set to Local
    2. “Fully Qualified Domain Name” should be On
    3. Add the Dise URL
    4. Choose "Application Type": IPK
    5. Click REMOTE
    6. Wait until installed and restart the screen


To access the server settings through the Settings menu, follow the steps below:

  • On the remote controller, press the SETTINGS button, or click the Server_Setting_Icon.png button on the Smart Home screen.
  • On the Ez Setting menu, select the SI SERVER SETTING option.
  • On the SI SERVER SETTING screen, select the SI Server Setting option.

Installation using USB
  1. Choose 'Go to settings' 
    • Under the 'EZ SETTINGS' tab select 'SI server setting' 
    • in the 'SI SERVER SETTING' you want to once again select 'SI Server setting'
    • On this screen you want to change the following
  2. On this screen you want to do the following
    1. “Application Launch Mode” should be set to Local
    2. “Fully Qualified Domain Name” should be Off
    3. Choose "Application Type": IPK
    4. Don´t forget to set the angle if you intend to use the screen in portrait mode
    5. Click USB
    6. Wait until installed and restart the screen


Connecting the screen to cloud

  1. After a little while, a 6-digit code, a discovery code, will be presented on the screen.

  2. This code is unique to the player. Make a note of it or take a photo because we will need it in the next step, which is in Dise CX Portal.
  3. Log in to CX Portal and select the Players tab.  
  4. Click Add to create a new player.  
  5. In the dialog appearing, enter a name, the 6-digit discovery code, and click Save.
    If you have already created a content playlist you want to play on the screen you may also specify it here - otherwise you can configure this later.
  6. You will notice that the player software on the screen will subsequently receive the settings, register with CX Portal and download some content.

Change the screen to portrait mode

Enter the settings by hitting the 'setting' button on the remote. 

Then navigate to 'Display' -> 'Rotation'. 

Here you can set whatever rotation you want. 



Offline server registration to cloud

  1. Insert a USB keyboard in the screen. 
  2. Click the 5 button on the remote or tab down to "Click here to enter settings manually".
  3. In the new dialog, enter the settings to connect to CX Portal.
  4. The player will register in CX Portal by the name "DISE", and play a default playlist.
  5. Log in to CX Portal, locate the player, then set a new playlist by going into it, click Edit, then select a new playlist.
