In this guide we will go through how templates can be used to create messages in the CX Portal.

Introduction

Before starting, make sure usable templates have already been uploaded to the Portal.

When you have your template uploaded, follow the steps below to create a message. 


Option 1 (Creating a message under the Messages tab)

  1. Start by going to the Messages tab on the left hand side.
  2. Click the button called Create Message in the top right corner of the screen
  3. A new window will appear, select the desired template
  4. Once the template is selected, users can edit text, position of text etc.
  5. When done editing the message, type in the name of the message and add it to a playlist.
    The duration of the message can also be changed before saving.
  6. Click the Save button and the message will be added to the selected playlist


Option 2 (Creating a message directly in a playlist)

  1. Go into the Playlist tab on the left hand side of the screen
  2. Select the playlist to which the message will be added to
  3. Click the button at the top of the screen that says Create Message
  4. The Upload Media text in the box below will change to Create Message, click to start creating the message
  5. A new window will appear. Select the template that will be used to create the message
  6. Choose the desired template
  7. Make edits
  8. When done editing the message, enter the name of the message and add to the playlist
    The duration of the message can also be changed
  9. Click Save and the message will be added to the playlist
