In this guide we will go through how you can use templates to create messages in the CX Portal

Introduction
Before you start you need to make sure that you have a usable template already uploaded to the Portal.

When you have your template uploaded, follow the steps below to create a message.
Option 1 (Creating a message under the content tab)
- Start by going to the Content -> Messages tab on the left hand side.
- Click the button called Create Message in the top right corner of your screen
- A new window will appear, select the template you want to use in the dropdown list
- When your template is selected you will see the values that are available to change
- When done editing your message, type in the name of the message and choose the playlist you want to add it to.
You can also change the duration of your message before saving. - Click the Save button and the message will be added to your playlist
Option 2 (Creating a message directly in a playlist)
- Go into the Playlist tab on the left hand side of your screen
- Select the playlist you want to add a message to
- Click the button at the top of your screen that says Create Message
- The Upload Media dialog in the box below will change to Create Message, click it to start creating your message
- A new window will appear where you can select what template you want to use to create your message
- Choose the template you want to use
- Edit any fields that you want to change
- When done editing your message, type in the name of the message and choose what playlist you want to add it to.
You can also change the duration of your message before saving. - Click Save and the message will be added to your playlist
