Tizen 7 Support

You can now run Dise on Samsungs Tizen 7 devices. Make sure you have the latest firmware.

Display Layout on Windows

There is now an custom settings to disable the display layout controls and allow Windows to handle it instead. One.Display = "windows".

Synchronization in the CX Portal

Easily set up a sync group in the CX portal using zones in locations and have one display be the leader and rest of the displays able to follow on a channel per channel basis.

Share of Voice

Share of voice channel mode in the CX portal is now supported.

New Application Launch Parameters on Windows

There is now options to disable the escape key during playback --no-esc-to-exit.

Nightly Reboot

The player will now be rebooted at 04:00 local time.

One.FilterClientAlarms can be used to disable all or specified client alarms.

Player Settings

Player settings are now persisted on disc to ensure that not lost during software updates.

Enable Info Button on Tizen

The info button on the remote control will now open the Dise Control Center.

Windows Display Settings

Improved the handling of Windows display settings so the player will restore Windows display settings when screens are disconnected and reconnected again.

Improved Sync Performance on Tizen

Improvements have been made to increase the speed a Tizen device will switch between follower mode and fallback mode.

Hardware Info for Windows and Linux

Player, client and software versions are now reported to the portal, including the Chromium version.

MQTT Server URL Custom Setting

A new custom setting - One.MqttServerUrl - has been added to allow a specific MQTT server to be used for synchronized playback.

Log File Clean Up

The oldest log file will be deleted if there is less than 200MB space left in storage.

Detect DRM Changes on Linux and Windows

DRM change/add/remove events are now detected to trigger display changes.

INSM F23 Improved Video Playback

CSS for loading video has been optimized for video playback on F23 devices.

Improved COM Support

The COM port name can now be specified to force the player to use that port. The number of COM ports the player supports has also been increased to 10.

  • Driver used in F23 units has been adjusted to improve hardware video playback acceleration.

  • Fixed an issue where conditions was using UTC instead of local time settings in the playout.

  • Fixed an issue that could cause the player be offline and not try and reconnect to the network.

  • The pairing screen will now only show on the primary display.

  • Fixed an issue where interactivity would be accepted by playback when the screen is off.

  • Fixed an issue where UTC timezone was used for conditions and scenarios instead of local timezone.

  • Fixed an issue where if the player failed to retrieve a pairing code it would need to be restarted before retrying instead of continuously retrying.

Known Issues

  • Time zone and date & time settings configured in the portal doesn't work on Windows.

  • Limited time zone options that work on Tizen.

  • Reboot time currently locked to 04:00:00 with no way of changing it in CX Portal.

  • F23 devices using One 1.2 Linux must be re-paired after updating to 1.3.

  • If the player starts offline, proof of play may not be recorded until the player reconnects. If a player starts online and then goes offline, statistics will be recorded during the offline period.
