Four supported sensors are of the “Pick-Up“ type. They all expose a trigger-attribute, but some also have additional functionalities:
XSW-X36 (wired magnetic) also has an optional “alarm“ trigger which detects if the sensor or the attached product has been removed or tampered with.
XZ-L20 (light detection) has two modes, either “auto“ or a constant threshold value (0-255) for detection.
XR-DR1/DR2 (RFID) allows detection of up to four RFID-tags to be placed on the surface. This is exposed as an attribute with the payload (data) of a JSON-serialized array with the tag-IDs. DR2 is supported in the “DR1 emulation“ mode.
XZ Weight sensor in addition to “Pick-Up“ support, it also exposes attributes for the delta weight and the number of added/removed items. This requires calibration which the implementation does not currently support as it would require interactivity and this template is intended to be running 24/7 in an invisible layer. Most commands for calibration and settings have been included as commented out in case you want to implement is yourself.
