Displays have 3 separate statuses:
- Control center - The main process of the player software which manages all aspects of the player.
- Playback - The playback window which shows content.
- Screen - If configured, the CX portal can retrieve the status of the physical screen connected to the display.
All of statuses have 3 states indicated by different colors:
- Red - Error status indicates the display is offline. The CX portal hasn't received a heartbeat from the display in X minutes.
- Amber - Warning status is a transition state between green and red. The CX portal hasn't received a heartbeat from the display in X minutes.
- Green - OK status indicates the display is online. The CX portal is receiving the most recent heartbeats.
- Navigate to 'Displays' in the left menu: 🔎︎
- Select a display.
- Under 'Hardware', the status will show a status icon:
4. Click on the status to view more information:
a. The most recent heartbeat date and time stamp received by the CX portal.
b. The current web socket or 'WAMP' status. If WAMP is in error the display won't receive any updates from the CX portal until a restart.
c. The status of the playback window and whether content is playing.
d. Screen communication.
