Contexts


Article summary

Context are used to visualize how a Dise movie will look and behave when modified by a certain variable when published. 

A mock variable value can be added to the CX Composer to preview the Dise Movie using the mock variable.


Setting up contexts

  1. Under the 'Movie' tab select 'Edit variables'.
  2. Click the 'Add' button
  3. Enter the variable name:

4. Under the 'Movie' tab select 'Edit contexts'. 

5. Add a new context.

6. Add a name. 

7. View a variable value by clicking 'Edit'.

8. To edit a variable, select a variables row and press F2, click in the Value column or the three dots:

9. Click 'OK'.

10. Connect variables to an object by right clicking on the object and selecting 'Edit'. 

11. Under the tab 'Data', click 'Connect Data'. 

12. Select a Variable from the dropdown menu.

13. Click OK. 

14. Select 'Preview current scene' and select which context should set the variables.
