CX Portal v16
New features
Single Sign-On
We’re excited to announce that our platform now supports Single Sign-on (SSO) using the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0. SAML is a widely adopted standard for secure authentication and authorization across different applications and services.
Duplicate playlist and channel
You can now effortlessly duplicate playlists and channels much in the same way as previously possible with messages. To access this option click on the select boxes in the list view.
Improvements
New login flow
The login process now has a new workflow and updated design to support additional ways to login.
Multiline descriptions
You can now set descriptions on displays, channels and playlists that support line breaks. The input has been updated to a text area to make this more intuitive.
Allow empty value for custom settings
You can now set empty string values as a custom setting on a player to be more inline with how it works in Classic Portal
Improved fetching of a display
You should now experience that a display loads a lot faster
Fixes
We have fixed several bugs and issues, such as:
- The location finder where the search result was not always correct
- The location finder where the last search result could be hidden behind the footer
- Playout where the same channel would show up multiple times in the dropdown.

We added new mutations on channel and playlist object that allows you to make clones in an easy way.
Improvements
Custom settings with empty value
We've changed so that
addCustomSettings
and setCustomSetting
mutations on Player object now allow for empty strings.Increased number of Campaign type
We've increased the number of campaign types to allow for a greater number of use cases when working with campaigns.
Fixes
We have fixed several bugs and issues, such as:
- Playlist item count was not always correct when including item from a campaign.
- Services on a display where not able to set error as the status.
