Lock Objects
Lock the position of objects by clicking 'Lock -> Position' so objects cannot be moved or resized.
- Locked objects are marked with a lock icon.
- The timeline of a locked object can be edited.
Group Objects
With multiple objects selected; merge, make list or combine them. Right click on the selected objects or navigate to the 'Group' settings in the top ribbon:
- Merge objects together to form a single object. This is a convenient way to position and move an unlimited number of objects all at once.
- Objects can be added to a list so multiple objects play one after the other.
- Combine objects to display one object inside the other by using one of the objects as a mask for the other.
- Split grouped objects.
Some properties are not applied to grouped objects, including shadow and transparency.
Settings
- Use alpha from - Select which object to use as a mask for the other.
- Alpha texture options - The mask can come from the alpha channel contained in the object, or be calculated using the object's luma/chroma channels.
- Invert alpha - If checked, selects everything outside the alpha texture.
