Playout can be used to get an overview of what media should be playing on a display at a selected date and time.
- Navigate to ‘Playout’ in the left menu:
🔎︎ - Select a display from the drop-down list.
- Pick a channel.
- Select a trigger to activate, if applicable.
- Choose a date and time.
- Choose the weather type and temperature, if applicable.
- Information of the display's location and tags are shown here:

A list of media items will be generated, showing the order they will play on the specified date and time.
This list can be viewed in a detailed list or gallery view. Hover over a media item to show:
- All media coming from the same playlist will be highlighted with the same color.
- Channel of the media item.
- Playlist of the media item.
- Media item type.
- Media item duration.
- Media item conditions.
- The sub-playlist if the media item is in a sub-playlist:
The grey bar between media items indicates the next loop of the channel.
Hover over a media item to show the playlist name. Click on the playlist name to see all media in the playlist and how many items from the playlist will play on each loop of the playlist:
Click on a media item to show additional information; including links to the channel, playlist, and media item:
