Screen Control

Screen control can be used to control a screen that’s connected to an external media player via RS232 into standby. Screen control will:
Force the screen on when inside operating hours.
Force the screen off when outside operating hours.
Force the screen to only show on the desired input.
Enable screen control
Navigate to 'Displays' in the left menu: 🔎︎
Select a display.
Click 'Edit' in the top right.
Add settings under ‘Screen control settings’ (double click in the text field for suggested entry:
Name - Set a name for the screen control, commonly the COM port used for the RS232 connection.
Manufacturer (optional) - The manufacturer of the screen.
Model (optional) - The model of screen.
Screen id (optional) - The id of the screen when multiple screens are connected.
Baudrate (optional) - Set the baudrate of the serial connection.
Input (optional) - Set the input of the player is connected to the screen with. This will force the screen to only show on the desired input.
Use the ‘+’ button to add screen control for a second screen connection.
Click ‘Save’:
