We need to copy the contents of current release notes to a new article and replace the contents in the current notes to the new ones. This way all tags, links and related articles stay correct.

There is a 'Dise Release Notes' template that can be used to help indicate what should be included. Found in 'Content tools>Templates'.

  1. Create new article under the relevant release note folder.
  2. Name article 'Draft'.
  3. Copy contents of current release notes to new 'Draft' article.
  4. Copy title and slug (underneath title) to a notepad.
  5. Change current article title and slugs to new version.
  6. Change 'Draft' to the current version.
  7. Enter new release notes.
Update downloads page to latest version.
Update smart bar to latest version and links, then enable it.
