Synchronization can be done via the local network (TCP/UDP) on Windows & Linux or via the internet using MQTT over HTTPS for all other platforms.
Synchronized players will auto discover.
Players are synchronized per layer.
Synchronization is leader/follower based.
Synchronization is by content object.
The same content is synchronized on all devices in the same sync group.
Different content on different screens can be synchronized by using a HTML template.
Synchronized players will share attributes for data exchange.
Local network synchronization via TCP/UDP is only supported on Windows & Linux.
Create Sync Zones
Build a location structure and create a zone for the sync group.
Create displays in the sync group.
Add a channel to the leader display.
Select the zone, click the 3 dots and then ‘Edit’:

Select the leader display from the drop down menu:
🔎︎Click ‘Save’.
Navigate to a follower display.
Select ‘Edit’ under ‘Channels’, click the 3 dots and ‘Enable sync’:

Select the layer the follower should sync with:

Click ‘Save’.
Displays will only synchronize the same content within the same playlist and channel.
