Transparent Effect

Create a transparent effect using the combine object function with a black and white video. 

Create a Video

1. Create a black and white video to use as an alpha mask.
2. The black section will be transparent once combined:

Add and Combine

1. Add the video to the CX Composer
2. Change the color of the white section by adding an image of a solid color.
3. Select both the video and image by clicking while holding Ctrl.
4. Right click the canvas and select 'Combine objects'.
5. Ensure all content showing behind the transparent video is below the combined objects in the timeline.
