Installation
- Run initial screen set up, including firmware, power settings, date/time and any other additional settings.
- Select 'EZ SETTINGS' tab.
- Select 'SI server setting'.
- Set 'Application Launch Mode' to 'Local'.
- Set 'Fully Qualified Domain Name' to 'On'.
- Type in the URL for the relevant OS:
- Set 'Application Type' to 'IPK'.
- Click 'REMOTE'.
- A reboot may be needed to complete the installation.
- Create a Display in the CX portal.
Installation steps may differ depending on device model.
Installation from USB
- Open the installation URL for the relevant OS in a browser:
- The IPK file will automatically start downloading.
- Create an 'application' folder in the root of the USB.
- Rename the IPK to 'com.lg.app.signage.ipk'.
- Add the IPK to the 'application' folder.
- Open screen settings.
- Select 'EZ SETTINGS' tab.
- Select 'SI server setting'.
- Set 'Application Launch Mode' to 'Local'.
- Set 'Fully Qualified Domain Name' to 'Off'.
- Set 'Application Type' to 'IPK'.
- Click 'USB'.
- A reboot may be needed to complete the installation.
Debug Overlay
Press '1' on the screen's remote or connect a keyboard and press '1' to show the debug overlay:
- Player information.
- Player log.
- Player settings:
- 'Clear log' - Clear debug overlay of logs.
- 'Clear settings' - Delete all Dise settings and generate a new pairing code.
- 'Clear content cache' - Delete all content and re-download playlist.
- 'Reload' - Restart Dise.
- Display log level - Set what level of logging is shown on the overlay. By default this is set to the highest level 'debug'.
