Lite

  1. Run initial screen set up, including firmware, power settings, date/time and any other additional settings.
  2. Select 'URL Launcher' (Menu->System->Play Via->URL Launcher).
  3. Select 'Install Web App'.
  4. Type in the URL for the relevant OS:
    1. http://go.dise.tv/sssp4 
    2. http://go.dise.tv/sssp5 
    3. http://go.dise.tv/sssp6 (this link should be used for SSSP7 screens)
    4. http://go.dise.tv/sssp10
  5. A reboot may be needed to complete the installation.
  6. A Dise pairing code will show once installation is successful.
  7. Create a Display in the CX portal.
Installation steps may vary depending on model. Please refer to the manufacturer instructions for further assistance.

Lite Tizen 7

  1. Select 'custom app' on the PlayerSelection menu and enter the installation URL: http://go.dise.tv/tizen7
  2. Once complete, press the home button and select Custom app.
  3. A Dise pairing code will show once installation is successful.
  4. Create a Display in the CX portal.
To enable custom app press Home -> Source, select option HDMI1. Press the settings button and choose system -> Play via -> Custom App.

Installation from USB

  1. Download the latest USB Tizen zip file.
  2. Create a 'SSSP' folder on a USB drive.
  3. Extract the files contained in the Tizen zip file to the 'SSSP' folder.
  4. Insert USB into screen
  5. Click the 'Content'/'Home' button on the remote.
  6. Select 'URL Launcher settings'.
  7. Select 'Install from USB Device'.
  8. Enter your PIN (default is 1234).
  9. A reboot may be needed to complete the installation.
  10. A Dise pairing code will show once installation is successful.
  11. Create a Display in the CX portal.

Gapless

A custom setting is required on SSSP4 and SSSP6 devices to achieve gapless playback and to play 4K content:

  • Name: GaplessVideo
  • Type: Bool
  • Value: 1

Debug Overlay

Press '1' on the screen's remote or connect a keyboard and press '1' to show the debug overlay:

  1. Player information.
  2. Player log.
  3. Player settings:
    1. 'Clear log' - Clear debug overlay of logs.
    2. 'Clear settings' - Delete all Dise settings and generate a new pairing code.
    3. 'Clear content cache' - Delete all content and re-download playlist.
    4. 'Reload' - Restart Dise.
  4. Display log level - Set what level of logging is shown on the overlay. By default this is set to the highest level 'debug'.
