The WebPage template displays a web-page. There are a number of settings:
set/clear Attribute
The WebPage template is frequently used in a setup with two playlists. One is an “idle loop“ (screen-saver) and the other a WebPage. The activation of this is handled with one or more Attributes and CMS-conditions. These field-values specifies what to set/clear just before the template is ended/finishing.scrollbars
Whether the iframe hosting the web-page should have overflow: auto or hidden.
useInactivityTimer
When hosted by “mqCef“ (the Windows/Linux Player), our host supports a timer which is reset on user-interaction. The duration-field is in this more interpreted as a “user idle“-timeout. If the host does not support this mode, the duration behaves as a hard-timeout.preloadPage
In some cases, e.g. when the hosted web-page autostarts a video, the loading of the page will have to be delayed to the “onShift“-stage at the cost of a visual glitch.checkStatus
When set to true, the template will attempt to do a “HEAD-fetch“ of the URL and fail if status is not OK.
The template has special behavior for thumbnail-generation. Thumbnails are created using a stock-browser and X-Frame-Options will frequently stop Dise from creating a thumbnail-image. The template uses a WebService instead to get a screenshot.
