Scenes

General

The scene view is an overview of all the scenes in the movie. Quickly move between scenes by clicking on them, and re-arrange them by drag-and-drop.

Selecting the active scene

Clicking on one of the scenes in the edit area will change to that scene.

Selecting more scenes

Holding down the SHIFT or CTRL key and clicking can select more than one scene at the same time.

Re-arranging the order of the scenes

To change the display order of scenes, drag and drop the scene icons in the scene view. Select a scene and right click on the icon and select Move -> To Beginning or Move -> To End in the menu.

• Zoom slider - Change the scene preview size.
• Show transitions- Expand the scene view downwards to show smaller icons of the transitions between scenes. Right click to add, edit and remove transitions.
• Add & Delete- Add a new scene or delete the selected scenes from the Dise Movie.

Scene Settings

Edit the scene schedule:

Manage scene data connections:

• No data connections exist in the scene, nothing will happen if you click the icon: 
• One or more data connections exist in the scene, click the icon to edit them:
  

Edit scene properties including name, duration and settings to import external scenes:

Toggle loop settings:

• At end of current scene, move to next scene:
• At end of current scene, replay scene:

Display Time (Duration)

The default display time of a scene is “Duration Auto” so the scene adjusts to the duration of the objects inside the scene.

To specify an exact display time, click the scene properties icon  on the scene icon. Select 'Playback Options', change the scene duration to “Fixed time” and enter the required length.

Scene Context Menu

Right-click on a scene icon to bring up a context menu:

• Scene properties.
• Insert a scene after the currently selected scene.
• Delete one or more selected scene(s)
• Duplicate the selected scenes.
• Import one or more selected scenes from another movie.
• Export one or more selected scenes.
• Move the selected scene to the beginning or end of the movie.
• Edit all data connections of the selected scene.
• Edit the schedule for the selected scene.
• Manage events to specify actions to be performed when the scene starts or ends.
